We have now entered the world of having a MUV (Mormon Utility Vehicle) This is our "new" van. It is a 2004 Toyota XLE Sienna Limited mini van. We got this as our new vehicle after Ben's pick-up truck got totaled in an accident on the day we had snow here in Las Vegas. The kids really love it because they now have a DVD player built in to watch as we drive. It also has a navigation system so now we should never get lost :) We also have room to haul more people around we they come visit us.

Emily's First Birthday

IMG_2203

I love that you can put almost anything on a cake these days. One of these days I will have to make my kids their own birthday cakes when life gets a little less hectic.

We had Emily's birthday party at Bucci De Peppo's and invited family and friends. Emily loved all the attention and had a great day. Grandma Morrow sent the bib she is wearing so she could show off that Emily was one. Uncle Mike, Aunt Kim and the whole gang came.

The birthday girl decided she needed a little " Jackie O" look .

Aaron had to sit by Laquita at Emily's party. He was trying to take in all the excitement of everyone being there.

Dinosaur and Ladybug

IMG_1564

Here is our cute Ladybug and Dinosaur. Some of you have already seen this because we sent out Halloween pictures but for those of you who haven't I wanted to had it. Aaron and Emily did so well letting Daddy take picture after picture till Mommy was satisfied.

Miss Emily the Ladybug. She looks so serious here but she was so cute in her costume.

Here is Aaron in his dinosaur costume showing off his Rexi he built at Build A Bear for his birthday. He goes through phases of things he likes but he hasn't gotrn tired of dinosaurs yet!

Halloween

Thought I would go back and add some pictures of previous events. We promised Aaron we would carve a pumpkin. He got to pick out the pumpkin he wanted and Daddy helped him draw the face and carve it. Emily even helped by trying to scoop out the guts of the pumpkin.

We went to the church for Trunk-or- Treat. We got caught in traffic but had lots of fun anyhow.

I am trying to spend more time playing the piano. In the process my little " Mozart" likes to play too. Aaron has always loved to play the piano and we have never discouraged him because he is gentle. However, his sister is not following in her brothers foot steps in on this area. Nevertheless I like to allow Aaron to develop his musical talents.

Aaron showing off his new bike he got for Christmas. Pappa taught Aaron in two days how to ride back and forth down our street. We now have to run to keep up with him. Emily felt left out so we got Aarons old tricycle out for her. She had lots of fun having us pull her up and down the street like her big brother!

Christmas 2008

Christmas 08

Aaron was so excited to see Santa Claus. Emily was a little apprehensive but since brother was there she did ok. Aaron was a lot of fun this year for Christmas. Emily on the other hand didn't really care.

Welcome to My new Blog

Well after much peer pressure I finally have a blog. I need to thank my husband as he set this up for me. Some of you know that I am now a Special Education and I have had a good start. Our kids are growing like weeds. Aaron is now 3 and seems to learn a new phrase every day. Emily is 13 months and is walking or more liking running all the time. She is taking after her father and is the little dare devil in our lives. I am not looking forward to the day when she wants to go ski diving like her daddy.
We are the proud new owners of a Toyata Siena Mini Van. This is due to the fact on our snow day in December Ben was hit by a car. It did so much damage the insurance company called it a total loss. It was a blessing in disguise as we could pay off my Camry and only have one car payment. I wasn't sure I wanted to join the mini van world but I am quite enjoying it. The kids love the fact the they know have a DVD player to watch movies on.
Stay tuned for more news from the lives of the Morrows.
